An internship is something, that is meant to proliferate and improve your working skill. When most people think of working skill, they only think of the intellectual aspect of executing a work. In other words the brainy part of doing a job. But what most people don't realize is that it takes more than an intellectual to do certain jobs, What it takes to do the job, is smart. So what is the difference between being smart and being intelligent? Well, being intelligent means, you have a lot of knowledge, and, but you do not possess the necessary social skills. For you to rise through the social ladder of success. You would need both intelligence and social skills, in other words, you would need to be smart. Being smart is the only way, you can climb the social ladder and reach to the top. Developing social is in a way, just as important, or even more important than intelligence. That is why during an internship, it is important to develop your social skills along with your intellectual skills. While doing an internship, you will find many opportunities to meet new people and socialize, don't let them go. Utilize every chance you get to make friends and make connections.

The consequence of being a hyper-intellectual with no social skills is that you will be exploited by other people and you will make very few friends.
