Why you should not focus on part time Internships

A part time internship is where you, intern for a short period of time during the day, along with your academic education. Most students think that it is a dual advantage. Because why not? You can complete your degree, and you can complete an internship. But there are factors that most people or students do not consider while doing an internship. And the main thing to consider is the academics. Doing well in academics is close to impossible if you are considering doing a part-time internship. But doing a part time internship will smoothly your academics, right? Nooooo. It doesn't. In fact it is just the opposite, you would feel extremely tired, dragging yourself home every night, without having an ounce of energy, and you would only have the time to sleep, considering you might only reach home at 10:00 PM.



                So you ask, " Why, I do not care, I still have an internship to pull me through". Again, no, the only way your internship will be able to pull you through is if it is a valuable internship. There is a huge difference between average internship and a valuable internship. A valuable internship is one, if completed can get you an awesome high paying job right away. An ordinary internship is one .......... well you get the point. So it is impossible to focus on your academics while you are doing an internship. And if you wanna do a valuable internship, you know one that matters, then you gotta have a good GPA.
